The Collector is Present2026
From May 14th to 17th, the 4th edition of The Collector is Present, the programme by Barcelona Gallery Weekend born from the collaboration between gallerists and collectors.
Gallerists have invited collectors to jointly develop a project in the gallery. The result is a free programme of exhibitions, guided tours, conversations, dialogues, presentations, and other activities around collecting that highlight the relationship established between collector—gallerist—artist, key agents within the artistic ecosystem.
Through the experiences that collectors and gallerists share firsthand, The Collector is Present invites audiences to discover different ways of approaching art and some of the motivations that drive collecting.
