FILS joins our Acquisitions Programme and welcomes 3/2.r:tt.0 (2026), a work by artist Nikolay Morgunov that was featured in his solo exhibition at Sorondo Projects as part of Barcelona Gallery Weekend's Flash Programme.

Morgunov’s practice unfolds within the uncertain space where order and disruption coexist. His works originate from rigorous structures—grids and predefined systems—that, rather than imposing stability, become settings for accident, resistance, and transformation. Through a slow and accumulative process, Morgunov works with materials that exert opposing forces: charcoal on delicate surfaces, nails that place the canvas under tension, and transparent resins that alter the perception of depth. His compositions do not seek to resolve these tensions but to make them visible.

Since its founding, FILS has maintained a close relationship with culture as an essential part of its way of understanding law and society. Through initiatives such as ‘Diálogos de Jardín’, it has created an open forum for thought, literature, the arts, history, and cultural debate. FILS is not only about law: it is also a place for conversation and the exchange of ideas, where different disciplines and perspectives come together in dialogue. Inspired by the conviction that knowledge grows through dialogue, we foster shared reflection to help us better understand the world we live in.
