Acquisitions Programme 2026: Manuel Expósito Collection

The Manuel Expósito Collection acquires Carrying San Sebastián (1992), a work by artist Pepe Espaliú, at ProjecteSD gallery.

In Expósito’s words, “it is a pleasure to add a video by Pepe Espaliú, an iconic reference in the context of HIV, to the collection. Carrying San Sebastián is a work about vulnerability, care, and the need to support one another. Pure contemporary art history!”
