About the gallery

barcelona Gallery Weekend

Bombon Projects is a contemporary art gallery that opened in Barcelona in February 2017. It was preceded for 5 years (2012 - 2017) by a project-space.

The gallery is interested in local and international artistic practices that reflect a contemporary social and emotional sensibility, as well as in the claim of artists from previous generations. This translates into the exhibition programme, where the work of young artists has been combined with historical figures. The programme includes exhibitions in the gallery space, off-site projects and fairs.

UNTIL NOVEMBER 4TH.

Bombon projects presents Not yet, a solo exhibition by Enric Farrés Duran that takes shape from a state of constant contradiction. The tension between different decisions is used by the artist to embrace indecision and make it a space from which to work, rethink and reveal the structures that make up the exhibition as well as those that make up the works themselves. The way of looking at and approaching the works will be put both at stake and in doubt.

Recent solo shows include: An exhibition by Enric Farrés Duran @ SiS (Sismarcs, Sabadell 2022), Acid Love Forever (Nogueras Blanchard, Madrid 2022), Things that Happen (MACBA, Barcelona 2021), Empezar por el medio (Nogueras Blanchard, Madrid 2018), Una cosa a fondo que probablemente no existe (Bombon Projects, Barcelona 2018), Res és Meu (Contemporary Art Center Bòlit, Girona 2018), Una exposició de mirar (La Panera, Lleida 2017), USELESS#2: Enric Farrés Duran. In collaboration with the ARCO Foundation, Barcelona Gallery Weekend is once again offering free guided tours to the participating galleries: seven walks guided by a local expert in which gallerists and artists will present their exhibitions first-hand. Each itinerary will take place twice during the weekend.
