ethall. A project, a space with its own memory where situations are generated and artists are accompanied in the development of their work. An interdisciplinary exhibition sequence that proposes formal research, speculative processes and collective essays based on the conviction of the transformative power of art.

It is said that an inclination is merely a deviation from the vertical. But that presupposes that the vertical came first. Clin. prefers to remain in the moment prior to this assumption. Where orientations still do not feel natural, words have not yet taken hold, and a slight variation is enough for relationships to emerge that we might otherwise have overlooked. Because what if, rather than representing the world, we were to shift slightly the conditions from which it emerges?  

Exhibition: artist(s)

Eulàlia Rovira (Barcelona, 1985) holds a degree in Fine Arts and a postgraduate degree in Art in Context from the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK). Her practice examines how particular ways of perceiving and organizing the world become inscribed in bodies, environments, and language. Through installations, sculptures, photographs, and performances, she has explored issues such as gravity, vision, surface, and inert matter, proposing a perceptual plasticity that resists fixed certainties. 

She has recently been awarded the Catalan Government Grant for Artistic Creation, Research and Innovation (2025), the Barcelona Crea Grant (2025), and the GAC Award (2020). Her work has been exhibited at Estudio/Abierto (2026), Casa Aymat (2026), Palmadotze (2025), Museo Habitado (2025), Arte-o-rama (Marsella, 2024), Arts Santa Mònica (2023), la Catedral de Girona – Bòlit Centro de Arte Contemporáneo (2022), MACBA (2021), Fabra y Coats (2020), la galería ethall (2020), Twin Gallery (Madrid, 2020) and M|A|C (Mataró, 2019).

Since 2013, she has collaborated with artist Adrian Schindler, with whom she shares an interest in displacing both the gaze that observes and the voice that narrates. Their latest exhibition was presented at CCEMx of Ciudad de México (2024).
