About the gallery
Escat Gallery is a contemporary art gallery founded by Pau Escat, which develops a solid curatorial program rooted in contemporary artistic practices, with a critical view of the present. The gallery promotes projects that explore materiality, the creative process, and conceptual depth, establishing a coherent dialogue sustained over time. At Escat Gallery, they represent a carefully selected group of artists whose work stands out for its rigor and a distinctive voice, capable of addressing the current context from diverse perspectives.
Each exhibition is conceived as an experience that goes beyond aesthetic contemplation. The proposals invite reflection, the exchange of ideas, and an active connection with the artwork, fostering an open and transformative relationship between the artist, the space, and the public. Escat Gallery is a place of meeting, research, and experimentation, where art is presented as a living space of thought, sensitivity, and continuous dialogue.
