12:00 h

«Zeiträume», performance with Gianluca Iadema

'Zeiträume' is an electronic music performance where desolate and nostalgic atmospheres blend with sonic abstractions from various musical styles, including techno, glitch, pop, and ambient, merged with contemporary classical concepts. It envisions what the world's dream might be, and by extension, the dream of music, as if we had never experienced them before. This performance interweaves the analog and digital worlds, morphing and sculpting the two realms as equal sound materials, bringing the processes to the forefront and elevating the background to the subject. Starting with the sound generation of the Pulsar 23, a semi-analog drum machine as the sole sound source, the sound is then processed digitally through convolutions, data bending and polyrhythmic loops.

In the context of the exhibition 'From, maybe to' by Gianluca Iadema. c/ València 345, Barcelona.

16:00 h

'Florilegium - Personal Anthologies'

Performance in which Louis Porter will produce a small collection of artist's books inspired by the idea of florilegium, the medieval tradition of combining fragments to form literary anthologies. The artist will invite visitors to sit down and talk with him in order to produce a personalised book from printed material and originals produced during his residency at Chiquita Room in 2022 and subsequent trips to Barcelona in preparation for his exhibition The Appearance of a Distance. Each conversation will be held at a proxemic distance of 53 cm and will present different aspects of the project and the work with archival material to the public. All the books will be different: each will contain at least one unique object and reflect the individual character of the person invited.
