Wilfredo Prieto (Sancti Spíritus, Cuba, 1978) has exhibited in solo shows such as Speaking badly about Stones, S.M.A.K., Ghent (2014); Leaving something to chance, Sala de Arte Publico Siqueiros, Mexico City (2012) and Amarrado a la pata de la mesa, Centro de Arte 2 de Mayo (CA2M), Mostoles, Madrid (2011). He has participated in group shows, such as; Under the same sun: Art from Latin America Today, Guggenheim Museum, New York (2014); Balancing the curve, Hangar Biccoca, Milano, Italy (2012); Landscape with the fall of Icarus, Kunsthalle Lissabon, Lisbon (2011). The work of Prieto is represented by NoguerasBlanchard, Hospitalet/Madrid, Annet Gelink Gallery, Amsterdam and kurimanzutto, Mexico City.
